Camp Google for kids

An online summer camp designed to get kids learning STEM subjects offline.

Summary

Our team at 72andSunny was engaged to lead the planning, design and launch of the first Google-branded online summer camp for kids, Camp Google. Knowing that parents and kids don’t want to spend their summers on a computer, the multi-week, interactive multimedia learning experience was designed to prompt kids to take their learning offline and explore the world around them.

The multi-week learning program wove together synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences featuring video, interactive and printable content for exploring a variety of STEM related subjects through kid-friendly themes.

Outcomes

  • Successfully designed and launched Camp Google for Kids, including multiple weekly content themes and featured influencer live streams
  • Created a kid-friendly STEM learning experience integrating live-stream video, hands-on projects and self-guided interactive exploration
  • Successfully executed live-stream content features with interactive Q&A from locations around the world, including an under water deep sea dive
